Alpha Xi Delta Sorority, FSC's Gamma Epsilon chapter,
served as hostess to all the California and Arizona chapters at a convention celebrating their 1893 founding. In
conjunction with Sigma Chi Fraternity, the Alpha Xi's
held their annual Christmas Decorating Contest for all
Greek houses on campus before Christmas recess, and
the prizes were awarded at the Greek Sing. The sorority
held its Rose Ball in March, and actively participated in
the Homecoming Parade, Greek Sing, the Masque Ball,
and the Blue Key Carnival. The pledge project for the
year was working with the Fresno Nutritional Home.
Alpha Xi philanthropies include a donation of books to
a tuberculosis ward, a scholarship, and an outstanding
senior award.
The flower is the pink killarney rose, the colors are
double blue and gold, and the pin is the gold quill.
