Three basic living arrangements constitute the majority of away-from-home residences at Fresno State College—Greek Houses, on and off the growing Greek Row; Baker, Graves and Homan Dormitories; and apartments throughout Fresno. Sorority houses belonging to five campus organizations, and the eight fraternity houses provide accomodations for many hometown, as well as out-of-town students. The three dormitories, two for women, and one, Homan Hall, for men, serve mainly non-Greek students. Apartments provide homes for students who cannot get into the over crowded dorms as well as for those who simply prefer living off-campus. Living groups at FSC focus primarily on these differing systems and yet the lives of all these students are generally much alike, even with their individual scholastic, social, and special-interest activities.
