Dedication Unlike anything else; unmatched, without an equal. This is uniquesness and it is to this ideal that the 1965 Campus is dedicated. Contrary to the usual and popular practice of dedicating a school's yearbook to an outstanding, respected person, this year's Campus salutes the individual uniqueness of Fresno State College. Centered in the agriculturally productive San Joaquin Valley, Fresno State College is unlike any other educational institution in the world. Each student is a unique person, therefore when these individuals are grouped into a student body they lend the college an individuality of its own. The uniqueness of Fresno State College does not end with this point, however. Since the college is located in a highly successful agricultural region, a large and continuously growing agriculture department has developed. To the west of this department and in the center of the campus is the division of education which was a primary reason for the founding of FSC. It was the training of future teachers at all levels of the profession. These two fields, as well as many comparable ones, exist together on the Fresno State College Campus and contribute to its uniqueness. "Unique" is a simple word to pronounce, six letter adjective, but it contains within its meaning a complex concept. This complimentary term is one of the multitude which describes veil one of the important ideas associated with FSC—individualism. :"H4 :l s •- * %\ ..
