Kappa Sigma
The Kappa Sigma began
the year's activities in a new
Spanish-style house located on
a 31/2 acre site complete with
a productive peach orchard, a
large swimming pool, tennis
courts and riding stables.
Along with the traditional Ski
Carnival and Red Riot, the
fraternity enjoyed a water skiing party at Pine Flat Lake
and many carefree Friday afternoon TGIF's around the
pool.
Greek Week proved extremely rewarding for the
Kappa Sigs. At the annual
Greek Banquet they received
awards for best decorated car
in the auto rally, were winners
of the fraternity division in the
College Bowl and a special
award for the best spirit and
participation during Greek
Week.
The fraternity, with a
membership of 31 actives and
pledges, also received an
award for being one of three
fraternities on campus to have
the overall fraternity grade
point average above the All-
Men's Average.
