ScAool o£ Su&faete According to Dr. McKee Fisk, dean of the School of Business, putting into operation the four new departments created under the University Plan was the biggest job of the past two semesters. These divisions are somewhat unique at FSC in that the school's majors take classes in each of the departments to acquire the broad education required for most areas of business. The main reason for the organization of the school into an accounting and quantitative studies department, a finance and industry department, an office administration department, and a management and marketing department, is to divide the large faculty into smaller groups to increase efficiency. A familiar sight in any business school is a group of students working busily in a room full of typewriters, and the FSC School of Business is no exception. Professor Helen F. Rohrer's typing class hurriedly finishes an assignment for a timed writing test. Students in a statistics lab, which is offered by the business administration department, figure problems given to them by the instructor, Stemmler. The administration of the School of Business is the responsibility of these four department chairmen and Dean McKee Fisk, who are discussing the possibility of changes in the curriculum schedule. Seated (L-R) are Chairman Helen F. Rohrer of the Department of Office Administration, Dr. Fisk, Chairman Clayton R. Tidyman of the Department of Accounting and Quantitative Studies, Chairman Robert A. Carr of the Department of Finance and Industry, and Chairman Donald G. Halper of the Department of Management and Marketing. Yd ' i .. iiiifllf ill mS 40
