^ArSdociated Women students ^ffifflff ^. The first A.W.S. event of the year was the supper party given annually by the A.W.S. and W.A.A. for freshman women students. It was held this year in the east court where the guests also attended a fashion revue. "Big sisters" from the A.W.S. Luncheon Club, the Sophomore Service Society, and the W.A.A. Board of Control sponsored the freshman guests. Early in March, a fashion show was held in the Union, with models chosen from each campus women's organization. Spring styles from sports wear to formal gowns were shown. Elizabeth Simmons, Associated Women Students president, and Dorothy Rees, incumbent president, attended the convention of the Western Intercollegiate Associated Women Students at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, early in April.
