Transcript	lElteatetlj fteter00tt Carnme Every student who came under the instruction or influence of Elizabeth Peterson Carnine felt the nobility and refinement of her character. Her idealism inspired her students; her gracious spirit enriched the life of the entire college. In the building of her department, in calling forth the best and finest qualities in her students, and in her state-wide leadership in musical education, she performed a splendid and enduring service. Amid our sorrow at her passing, we cherish the inspiration which the fineness of her spirit and presence have left us. Soljtt Jfltmtij The unfailing kindliness, loyalty, and cheerfulness of John Finity endeared him to us all. He was constant in his devotion to the college and to service in its behalf. No appeal to his sympathy and interest went unheeded. At the sacrifice of his own time and convenience, he offered freely his skill, his resourcefulness, and his patient help in our undertakings. His example gave new dignity to service, new faith in human worth. In grateful memory of a departed friend, we inscribe this tribute of respect and esteem.
