ACADEMIC Back Row:—Gonzalez, Walmsley, Patton. Front Row:—Guthrie, Gray, Safstrom, Walker. Junior Class DUE to the direction of two very able presidents, and the cooperation of the members, the Junior Class has closed the doors of a successful year. Besides discussions led by some of the third year students, many interesting and educational programs were arranged by committees especially appointed for that purpose. Repeating the tradition formed while Sophomores, the Junior Class designed and built an attractive float that was entered in the College division of the Raisin Day Parade. As proof of their originality and ability the class succeeded in presenting a novel assembly program carrying out the traditional Junior Day. The Junior Class has been active, not only in student body and educational affairs, but also in athletics, having outstanding figures in football, basketball, and track. The Junior-Senior prom which was held at the Paradise Ballroom on May 15th was a fitting setting, climaxing the series of events of the past year. * President First Semester . .
