CAMPPP That night, too, the Mu Alpha Deltas had a house dance. Members, alumni, and co-eds tripped the light fantastic. Tuesday night, the 18th, the college gym was the scene of the W. A. A. dance club's social fling. The decorations were so pretty it was hard to recognize the place. On the 20th, the Sigma Taus had a dance in honor of Andrew Mattei who is leaving soon for Europe. Then two nights later, the Zeta Mu had an informal dance at its house. APRIL The first day of the month, the Mu Alpha Deltas won their basketball game with the Zeta Mus and the Engineers defeated the Alphas. On the night of the 2nd came a real event in the lives of Fresno's drama. Mr. Wright and the San Joaquin Players presented "Thtee Live Ghosts" at the White Theatre. The standard of the play was quite professional. The Sigma Alpha Chis had a barn dance at the Fig Gatdens the night of the 6th. We entered the dance through a slide and landed on a hay stack. The next night the Alpha Theta pledges entertained the members with a dance at Ruth Pettis' home. A Japanese idea was carried out in decorations and programs. Sunday, the Fresno State Glee Club started a four-day appearance at the Wilson Theatre. It was a good performance, and the boys looked surprisingly handsome, all dressed up. On the 9th, the Zeta Mus held a luncheon dance at their house. This is to be developed into a bi-monthly habit. Not a bad habit, either! Friday nighr, the 11th, the Girls' Glee Club gave a concert and dance at the Californian. Good concert, good dance, and good eevning. Then, on the 14th, came the Kollege Kut-Ups. "The Gay Nineties" was the theme carried throughout. The Sigma Phi Gamma act was the redeeming feature of the whole performance. April 16th and 17th, Doris and Nell spent in Laramie, Wyoming, at a convention of the Western Inter-Collegiate Association of Women Students. Shadowlawn, the suburban home of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Walker, was the scene, the 17th, of a Delta Kappa tea at which the sorority pledges were presented to the campus. Two nights later, the Sigma Taus met at the Hotel Fresno for "A Night in Spain." Red and gold were the colors predominating. Ah! Then the 26th brought the great and novel occasion. It was Raisin Day, and Fresno State won a cup with its division in the parade.
