44 CHEMISTRY Generally regarded as offering some of the most specialized courses on campus, the Chemistry Department is nevertheless one of the largest. Through this department must pass all chemistry majors, home economists, pre-medicine and pre-dental students, physical scientists and physicists. Dr. Ennis B. Womack heads the department. Included in the courses given by the department are Organic, Quantitative Analysis, Physical, Biochemistry, German and French Chemical Literature, Colloid and Surface, Inorganic Chemistry and even Glass Blowing. Testing for acid base reaction. The vapor pressure apparatus. Take notes. The prof may ask questions. Timing a filter process. Mixing a formula scientifically.
