Queen Pat Heiskell and Don Trabing. SPRING FORMAL Blue Birds of Happiness was the theme of the annual Spring Formal Dance sponsored by the Associated Women's Students. The social hall of the student union was decorated with arbors, trellises, swinging gates, bluebirds and flowers to carry out the theme. Refreshments were served in the patio which was decorated to resemble a street cafe. A new idea was introduced this year when corsages were sold at the door. The proceeds from these sales were contributed to the World Student Service Fund. Doris Feuerstein, social chairman of the AWS, was in charge of the dance and Lou Monteleone's band furnished the music.
