REGISTRAR'S OFFICE IM'OT an easy job, that of the Registrar. It entails the keeping of innumerable records up-to-date, evaluating transcripts and answering countless questions. But even though the average student may not know how much work is involved in keeping his record straight, he does know that his "destiny" is in the hands of Registrar Wilma Wight. Through Mrs. Wight's office pass the student's English Entrance Examination score, the College Aptitude score, the Reading Examination score, the high school transcripts and every unit and grade point the student ever earns is carefully recorded by the staff of the Registrar's Office. It is in this office that applications for degrees and credentials are accepted and prospective graduates are interviewed and their records carefully checked to determine if they have met all the requirements necessary for graduation. And in addition to the routine recording work, the Registrar finds time to compile statistics relating to trends in enrollment and percentages of students in the various major fields at Fresno State College. My, Registration is perplexing! Here's where the money rolls in. One character ooses another. Not a mob scene but a registration day at Fresno State.
