Music Department

The Music Department offers a major and minor in music for
the Bachelor of Arts degree as well as Master of Arts degree,
and teaching credentials in elementary, junior high school,
general secondary, special secondary and limited special
secondary in voice and choral, piano, band and orchestra.
Besides training students for recitals in the brass choir, orchestra, and various choral groups, the department also
shares the responsibility for bringing into Fresno musical
artists of the highest calibre. Dr. Ralph C. Rea is chairman
of the department.
