Internationals on Campus: a group that daily is becoming better known. Through the combined efforts of many people (the International Relations Club, S.I.S., the International House), these "foreigners put on a one-week display that has really made people stand up and watch. They have not only given the American students a broader insight into the customs and culture of the other peoples of the '>arth, but they have also become a vibrant and ital part of our own student body. They participated wholeheartedly in many activities including a tea, a hayride, dances, banquets and ri international fair which displayed many interesting articles brought from their homelands. Highlighting the entire week was a model United Nations. Tempers flared and fury reigned as this model continued throughout the day. With all the realism of the U.N. located in New York, representatives of each country discussed—or was it argued?—many of the world-wide problems of the day. Each representative sought to solve these problems in a manner most beneficial to his homeland. Is it any wonder then that there were even a few who became so angry they stormed out of the General Assembly? By any standards, International Week can be deemed no less than a huge success.
