Forage crops of California; alfalfa, silage, irrigated pasture, range, related to livestock feed enterprises, cultural methods, uses and marketing. (2 lecture, 3 lab hours) 173. Identification of range plants; carrying capacity; methods of range improvement, grazing management, water development, rodents, fertilization, reseeding, brush removal; mountain range resources.
