40 FRESNO STATE COLLEGE Effective September 19, 1957, a J.'epeated course has been counted as units llttempted and is credited. with the appropxiate grade poims earned lly the repetition. Prior co the fall semester, 1957, the grade made upon repetition was accepted in place of rhat established earlier and units attempted were not charged. Occasionally a student wishes to repeat a cotu'Se in which he enrns a C. Such repetition is recorded on the transcript but is not fignred in unit o.r grnde-poin.t totals. SCHOLARSHIP STATUS SATISFACTORY SCHOLARSHIP Satisfactory scholarship means at least a C average (2.0 grade-point average or twice as m:~ny grade points as units attempted). REINSTATEMENT AND READMISSION srudcnt disquali.fied from che college may be reinstated only by speci:li action and if the facts in the case seem to warrant such action. Ordinarily, consideration for readmission will not be ~tlven m1less a semester has elapsed since the disqualification. Srudents who hove been disqualified mo.re than once may not be readn"Litted except under the most unusual circumstances. A student 1·erurning after :111 :11Jsence and who has bccll disqualified after his last term of atreudaucc must file :ttl application with the Admissions Office by the deadlines specified in the College Calendar.
