EDUCATION 133 STANDARD CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Since September 14, 1966, California school credentials have been issued only in compliance with the Licensing of Certificated Personnel Law of 1961 and the regulations of the Stnte Board of Education based on that law. Under the terms of the revised credential structure, five standard credentials authorizing public school service are established. The following is a partial list of the specializations under the stnndard credentials for which course work is available at Fresno State College. For a complete Jist see the California Administrative Code, Title 5, Sections 6100-6590. Information regarding specific requirements for the credentials listed can be secured from the department indicated in the Sc!Jool of Education. See also section on Degrees and Credentials. For specific requirements in any area students should consult the school or department in which the work is offered.
