There arc nvw more rhan 45 buildings in service. Plans for rhe future inclu lc cast campus residence h:dls, additions to rhc business, engineering, health center, :md science faciliri~, as well as a new residence hall dining area. The buildings nrc in a setting of colorful tr · ·, shruhbery, flowers, and lnwns. t rce-Ji11ed amphitheater accommodates commencements, convocations, and other large assemblages. memorial court :lllrl fountain and the free speech area, cen-tra lly located, contribute both to the functions :md atmosphere of rhc college. A college farm operated by the School of Agricu ltural Sciences has more than 34 srrucrurcs and is considered one of the most modern and best equipped agricultural plants in tho west. The properties of rhc college also include the R:ttcliffc Stadium :md rhc Univcr icy A venue Extension enter, both off-campus. LIBRARY The College Library is ho used in a bui lding completed in 1965. I rs n~suurccs include 313,000 carnl()ged volumes, '128,000 govcrnlllcn publications, 35,000 pamphlets, 38.000 mops, 26,000 picmres and prints, and over 3 600 periodical~ arc received n subscripriqn. Spccinl t;ollcction~ indude the Roy ]. vVoodward Mcm(lrial Librar)' of Californinnn and the College rchivcs. The usic Library has over 19,000 plwnodis • and tapes. The J.ibxnry building accommodates 1,2 18 reader ·. All students hal'e free access to rhc resources of the Library.
