Mistress Dana spanking new
Dana Delany is Hollywood's most exciting new star. Although Delany
has been in Hollywood for almost 10 years, her most recent role in
Gary Marshall's "Exit to Eden" is her first romantic film lead.
In "Exit to Eden," Delany delivers an exquisite performance as Mistress Lisa, a dominatrix who is torn between love and loyalty to her
profession.
Delany is best-known for her role as Army nurse Collen McMurphy
in the critically acclaimed series "China Beach." Delany earned four
Emmy nominations and two Emmy Awards for Best Actress for her
performance on the series.
Delany was born in Connecticut. She attended Wesleyan University
where she majored in theater. After graduation she went to New York
to pursue a professional acting career. She starred in the Broadway
show "A Life." She also received critical aclaim appearing off-Broadway.
In 1985 Delany headed to California to reprise her role as a rape
vicitm in the stage production of Nicholas Kazan's "Bloodmoon."
Soon after her move to Los Angeles, Delany began working in film
and television. She has climbed the Hollywood ladder to success working with such people as Oliver Stone, Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer and
Steve Martin.
Delany is making a permanent mark in Hollywood history. She has
Ihe glamour, presence and beauty to be one of the silver screen's greatest legends.

Imagine, if you will, a scene. A
scene of the most erotic fantasies
your mind can conjure. A scene of
butt-slapping, rope-tying, chain-
wearing, whip-cracking, leather-
sporting, hair-pulling, tie-me-up, tie-
me-down, pain-giving sado-masochistic sensuality ever displayed before
your eyes.
Director Gary Marshall's most recent film, "Exit to Eden," is the most
erotic film released in theaters since
"9 1/2 Weeks." "Exit to Eden" is an
adaptation of Anne Rice's erotic
novel of the same title. However, as
nasty as the film is, it is nothing compared to the sexuality that is described in the book.
The film version of the book is an
erotic love story with thigh-slapping
comedy tied in.
The film stars Dana Delany ("China
Beach") as the sexy and sultry
dominatrix, Mistress Lisa. Also starring is Paul Mercurio ("Strictly Ballroom") as Mistress Lisa's hunky submissive slave, Rosie O'Donnell
("Another Stakeout") as an undercover cop, Dan Aykroyd ("My Girl")
as O'Donnell's police partner. Hector Elizondo ("Pretty Woman") as the
island owner, Stuart Wilson as the illusive thief Omar and model Iman as
Omar's partner. •
Delany gives an unforgettable performance as Mistress Lisa. Not only
does Delany possess a centerfold
body and the face of a model, she also
has the performance talent to be one
of Hollywood's most sought-after
leading actresses. This is the most revealing role of her career in more
ways than one.
In a surprising scene, Delany exposes herself full-on nude. Sweet
apple pie no more. Dana, honey, way
to work a role! She owns the screen
and works it wilh elegance and glamour.
Mistress Lisa, voluptuous and desirable, is a character with power and
presence. This female role is not the
stereotypical Hollywood cheesecake
role. Delany has complete control,
and she whips out her best.
O'Donnell, however, dominates
scene after scene with comedic bravado that is all hers. In between the
slapping and spanking, O'Donnell relieves the tension with her brand of
quick wit and sarcastic humor.
New comer Mercurio is hot. His
performance is right on as Mistress
Lisa's submissive partner. Men are
pieces of meat in this film, and
Mercurio does his job superbly with
his innocent looks and devilish smile
—not to mention his ballet dancer
legs and thighs.
Here's the breakdown. The film
begins with Elliot (Mercurio) applying to Club Eden, a resort for sexual
fantasy. Martin Halifax (Elizondo) is
the owner of the exclusive club. He
selects island 'citizens,' a.k.a. sex
sjaves, through interviews that reveal
sexual fantasies and desires.
The next scene introduces Nina
(Iman) and Omar (Wilson). The two
are thieves smuggling diamonds into
the United States via the Los Angeles airport.

Mistress Lisa (Delany) receives a spong bath from citizen Elliot (Mercurio) in the film "Exit to Eden."
Elliot, a professional photographer,
sees something fishy going on between these two people and takes
their picture. Omar is not pleased by
this and decides to track Elliot down
to get the film. But before he goes
after Elliot, he attempts to complete
the diamond job at a local strip club.
At this point, Shelia (O'Donnell)
and Fred (Akroyd) are introduced as
undercover detectives trying to catch
Omar and Nina. The sting is a bust,
and Omar and Nina get away.
Later Shelia and Fred discover that
Elliot took pictures of Omar, so they
decide to get the pictures to help their
case. Omar and Nina decide to get
the film from Elliot as well.
Both couples discover that Elliot is
on his way to a fantasy island of sorts
and decide to go undercover.
At this point, the film takes the audience into a world of sexual deviation and fantasy at the infamous Club
Eden.
Mistress Lisa is introduced as the
woman in charge on Club Eden, and
she soon takes a special interest in
Elliot. She decides that she will train
him herself. And boy she sure trains
him.
While the tantalizing erotic passion
occurs between Mistress Lisa and
Elliot, the slapstick cat and mouse
between the cops and the robbers
goes on around them.
The relationship between Mistress
Lisa and Elliot is beyond titillation.
The kinky S and M that happens between the two of them is shameless
yet exciting.
In one particular scene, Elliot is
taught by Mistress Lisa to lose his inhibitions and become vulnerable and
free to experience the physical sensations that she gives him.
As Mistress Lisa rubs her breasts
against his bare buttocks, his tensions
are immediately released. She then

lakes a stainless steel hairbrush
from her vanity and begins to slap
his butt checks, which seems to
create a pleasurable sting.
By the end of the scene. Mistress
Lisa has Elliot weeping with satisfactions because his ultimate
fantasies have been fulfilled.
The rest of the film unravels the
plot between the cops and robbers.
And it also takes the audience
through the universal fantasy,
love.
Yes, Mistress Lisa and Elliot fall
in love. The dominatrix and the
submissive partner sound like the
makings of a beautiful relationship.
This film is an exquisite display
of erotica and sexuality. Though
the scenes of passion and vulnerability may bring forth secrets in
the consciousness of most people,
the comedy lends itself as a ten
sion breaker within the film for the
benefit of the audience.
The performances arc excellent and
the film, on a whole, docs justice to
the idea of vulnerability and submission to carnal pleasures. This picture
is definitely worth the seven bucks.
