For many, the school jeer be¬ gan a week ago Monday and al¬ lium L-b Orientation Week IMS Is a thing of the past, I would like to take this opportunity to express a big thauiks to Nancy Tttrney and her Orientation Cc-mmlttre for the fine Job they did in planning and conducUng the week's activities. A special thanks ts also due to alette I'appa, Harry O'Neil, Kathy Itustigan and Con- nle Coles. Now that school la tn progress, one of the first projects tor tbe Association Is to get tbe standing committees organised and func¬ tioning. Most of the* committees have met.'and are outlining pro¬ grams for the semester and the year. However, It still la not too late to sign up for the various committees and all students, especially Freshmen, are urged to do so.' Applications are available In the student president's office. Another item I would like to mention, and one not so pleasant, deals with the Health Center at F.S.C. I am sorry to report that during the State Legislature Ses¬ sion thla summer, the Health Service budget was cut consider¬ ably. As a result our part time consultant physic Inn staff has dropped from 2.5 to .8 doctors. Dr, Sell wart-*, director of the F.S.C.
