Reports disclose that she is planning to relocate in the near future. -Y- Mrs . Herbert K.Walther, chairman of the YWCA, board, presided over a special meeting at the Hospitality House Sunday afternoon to discuss future plans of the House . Board members and advi- sors were assigned to look after the House and a hos- tess training class was proposed. With Hana Uno' s resig- nation, members were given new duties as fellows: Mrs. Byko Umezawa, treasurer, Mrs. Katsuki Iki,GR chair- man; Mrs. Joan Arai, B & I chairman; Yuri Domoto, co- chairman; Kate Watanabe,GR ring group chairman; and Mrs . George Takeyama, YW property chairman. A new executive secretary will be chosen in the near future . -Y- Betty Shitara was elect- ed president of the newly organized Co-eds at their first meeting recently. Assisting her will be Namiko Ota,vice-president; Yoshi Ota., secretary, trea- surer and reporter; Apple Okamura, historian; and Alice Nakamura, member-at- large. Dorothy Saito is their advisor. A coming-out social is planned for the near future. -Y- The Meta- Adelphons and the Royal Spartans plan a joint social for the earlier part of February. MONETARY DONATIONS Mr. and Mrs. Kuranoshin Yatabe made a monetary do- nation to the PIONEER at the announcement of the marriage of their daughter Tomoko to Toshio Kawamoto. o$o A monetary donation was made to the senior high school by Mrs. A. Okuda of 6G-7A. ===TRANSFER=== Hishijiro Ito from Santa Fe, N.M. MONTANA OFFERS MANY FARMING OPPORTUNITIES No money,no relocation? Not according to the latest farming relocation opportu- nities for about 30 families available in the Montana's fertile Big Horn county on a share-crop basis,accord- ing to information received from Billings, Mont., re- location office. Standard lease there provides for the tenant to receive 40 per cent of the gross receipt and the owner 60 per cent. The landowner furnishes everything, in- cluding housing,equipment, seed,fertilizer, water and other necessary cash out- lay, while the tenant fur- nishes all the labor. Other deviations may be secured through direct owner-tenant negotiation. And if the relocatee has own equip- ment, good land may be had on cash lease terms of $2 an acre. Billings office invites any relocator interested in farming to take a short- term leave to investigate the various opportunities and make personal contact with those already settled in the region. This of- fice will furnish any needed information upon request by writing direct to 0. SPECIAL PROGRAM FOR SOLDIERS SET A special talent and social entertainments will be held tomorrow evening (Jan. 20)at 7 o'clock ex- clusive for the soldiers in uniform and their friends at the Hospitality House according to Mrs. Chikayo Masuoka, president of the Blue Star Mothers. The House will be opened daily this week except Fri- day evening for the men in the service and their pals. The club decided to launch its Fourth War Loan drive Monday, KARATSU SELECTS DISCUSSION TOPIC "Discipline of Children," will be the subject to be discussed at the meeting to be presided by Unosuke Karatsu,Seicho-No-Iye cler- gymen, at the 12G recreation hall tomorrow evening. 7 o'clock. YMCA BOARD ESTABLISHED The local YMCA Advisory Board was officially estab- lished at a meeting held last Thursday evening at the high school, according to Dr. John A, Rademaker, community analyst. New members were selected and will be sworn into of- fice Jan. 25 by Masao Sa - tow,specia1 representative for Japanese-American YMCA, and Howard Custerman, or- ganizer for this area from Topeka, Kans. The new Advisory Board consists of Akira Brush Arai, Dr. George Takeyama, Dr. Takashi Terami, Dr. Lloyd Garrison, Keikichi Fukuyama, Harvey Turk, Dr. John A. Rademaker, Fra nk Nakamura, John Ishikawa, Harry Shironaka,John Spen- cer, Bobby Uno, George K. Watanabe, David Takagishi, and Melvin McGovern. AID OFFERED PREPARING 1943 TAX RETURNS Remember, if you desire assistance in preparing your 1943 income tax returns, a Deputy Collector of Inter- nal Revenue will be at the Granada Bank today.
