Mow, nationally known speak- er and missionary to India, at the Hospitality House tomorrow afternoon. Mrs. Mow is scheduled to give a very interesting talk. Misako Kawaguchi will be the hostess, while the following clubs will assist: Pimpernels, Wee Teeners, Spurs, Tri Delts,Las Ninas, Patricians,and Juniorettes. All young girls cordially invited. -Y- Evelyn Miyashima, former Meta Adelphons president, was week-end visitor from Rocky Ford. -Y- Misako Kawaguchi was in- stalled recently as the new president of the Las Ninas in a very impressive candlelight ceremony a t the Hospitality H o use. Sandie Saito,outgoing prexy, was the chairman. New cabi.net includes: Mary Hori, vice-president; Marion Konishi, secretary; Setsu Osajima, treasurer; Sandie Saito, historian; Yoshie Sugita, reporter, and Betty Yamashita, mem- ber-at-large. A successful social fol- lowed the ceremony with the Meta Adelphons and Pat- r i cian s as Honor guests. Decorated with "Hawaii Calls" theme; dancing, entertain- ment and refreshment were enjoyed. -Y- Yoshiko Ito was honored with a surprise taffy pull by the Meta Adelphons last week. TWO MEETINGS TO CONCLUDE AMACHE CHRISTIAN MISSION Two inspiring meetings stand out in tomorrow's program as the successful six-day Amache Christian Mission concludes its con- ference, announces Rev. Lester Suzuki, chairman. Dr. F. W. Heckelman, over 35 years a pastor in Japan, will give a sermon in the morning services, 10:15 o'clock at Terry hall. In the evening gather- ing, Mrs. Anna B. Mow, na- tionally known preacher, is scheduled to bring the closing message at Terry hall at 7:45 o'clock. She will also conduct the lec- tures at tonight's seminar on "Marriage and Home" at 6: 30 o'clock at Terry hall. ADVISORY BOARD TO MEET TUESDAY An important meeting of the YWCA advisory board will be held Tuesday evening, 7 o'clock,at the Hospitality House, according to Mrs. Ayano Okuda and Mrs. Herbert K. Walther, c o-chairmen. The setting up of dif- ferent committees and their duties to help carry out the purpose and objectives of the YWCA will, among other things, be discussed. Delegates Mary Watanabe and Joe Norikane are sched- uled to give detailed re- ports on the various phases of the confab. Chairman for the service will be Aiko Tomiye with Rev. Tokuyu Shirakawa de- livering the sermon. "Law of Mind" will be the sermon of Rev. Unosuke Karatsu at the Seicho-No- Iye meeting from 1:30 o’- clock tomorrow afternoon at the 12G recreation hall. Selected readings from “Seimei-No-Jisso" ( Truth of Life),testimonials, and the Shinsokwan prayer will be included in the after- noon’s service.
