The recreation department an- nounces that there will be two showings this evening at Terry Hall--first one starting at 7 o'clock and the second at 9 o'clock. Upon the conclusion of the second showing, a gala entertainment program is slated to welcome in the year of 1944. This change to Terry Hall was made since majority of the mess halls are being used for parties and dances. The usua1 admission fee will be charged. It’s a feature filled with series of circumstances end com- plications which face Deanna. Supporting cast includes Robert Cummings and Charles Laughton. Starting Tuesday is 20th Century Fox's "Everything Happens At Night," an ex- citing drama of two rival reporters on the same as- signment and in love with the same girl. The stars are Sonja Henie, Ray Mil- land and Robert Cummings. In addition, chapter 12 of. one 13-chapte rFlash Cordon serial will begin its three- day run Monday. --JO TALENT PARADE SET FOR TOMORROW NIGHT The first gala enter- tainment-an all-nisei tal- ent revue--of the New Year is slated for tomorrow eve- ning at the high school auditorium, 7:30 o'clock, by the recreation depart- ment. Featured on the program are vocal,piano, and trum- pet solos, a ballet dance, an instrumental quartet and other feature numbers. In the star-studded parade are vocalists Pat Suzuki, George Matsushita, Sumi Kawamura and Pete Fu- ruto, novelty skit by Roy Nikaido and Dix Koga ac- companied by guitarist Em- erick Ishikawa,and a march drill by the 7F's cute damsels. The senior high girls' trio-Edna Amamot, May Yo- shioka and Lily Nagato ishi- will render several num- bers: Alcene Akahoshi will tap dance; Bubbles Endow and the Toyama sisters will offer hula numbers; and the Kawauchi sisters and Richard Yuki will give their specialties. On the stage will be Brush Arai and his musi- cians, while other star performers are Mr.and Mrs. Gerald Griffith, Dave Hi- gaki, Swede Furukawa, Na- miko Ota, Amy Sato, and Wesley Fujii. Master of ceremonies will be Roy Nikaido. The public is cordially invited to attend. GR’S, BOYS CLUBS HOST TO RESIDENTS Hospitality House will open to the public from 1 to 11:30 p.m. tomorrow on New Year’s day, according to Toshiko Tahara, president of the Meta Adelphons. Each of the nine GR two buys' clubs will act as hostess and host during different hours. Games and dances will be held with refreshments sold dur- ing the hours of 1 to 4 and 6 to 10 p.m. STUDENT COUNCIL SPONSORS GALA NEW YEAR EVE DANCE Dancers, jitterbuggers and what-have-you will have the, opportunity to ring the old year out and the new year in tonight at theNew Year’s Eve dance at the auditorium under the spon- sorship of the Amache high school student council and the various high clubs. Dancing hours are 9 p.m. to 1 a .m. It's a strictly couples only and 20 cents per per- son. Bids are being sold by the various club members and at the local Co-op can- teen. The various committees are Future Homemaking club, refreshments; Las Allegrias , bids; dramatics, Spanish, boys' league and letterman's clubs, decorations; FFA, doormen; music department, music and entertainment; PRESS CLUB HOLDS SUCCESSFUL DANCE "White Christmas." The nicest dance affair of this winter's social season was sponsored on Christmas eve by the Amacha Associated Press club at the high school auditorium. This successful dansant was at- tended by a large crowd of holiday celebrants. The Yuletide atmosphere was spotlighted op the gai- ly decorated Christmas tree with multicolored lights on the stage, while the blue and white color scheme was followed throughout with streamers. Little Bubbles Endow was the intermission entertain- ment star with her tap and hula numbers. And the sur- prise act of the evening was the musical quartet "giving out" with "My Blue Heaven,”which was definitely a hit." Bob Uno was the emcee.
