Luis Obispo, Calif», was inducted into the service on Sept. 18, 1944, from Chicago and received His basic training at Gamp Hood, Texas, prior to going overseas as a replacement for the 442nd Infantry, Cpl, Yoshio nakamura, who has been in the service three years, was born in Woodland,Calif., and graduated from Sacramento junior college. He joined "the Army on Feb. 10,1942, from his home town and received his basic training at Camp Shelby,Miss., before going .overseas with the 442nd Infantry, Pvt0 George Oki, native of Yuba City, Calif., entered the Army via draft on April 21, 1944, from this center and received his basic training at Camp Shelby, Miss*, before going overseas to join the 442nd Infantry, Pvt, Hachiro Togashi, erstwhile resident of Modesto, Califo, was inducted rr om this c ent er in April, 4.944, and went through his i overseas training at Camp Hfandnng, Fla., prior to joining the 442nd Infantry as a replacement. Y o s h i o, is a prisoner of war, commented: "I am glad that V-B Day has finally come and I hope for my brother's, as well as other nisei boys',early return," But the most surprising statement came from an unidentified elementary school youngster who uttered: "How, wo gotta'beat Ja- p an." Prospective relocators desiring gas rations for their automobiles may secure an allotment by applying for special mileage rations at the relocation office, revealed Halter J. Knodel, relocation program officer, last week, Gasoline can be obtained to facilitate relocation to any part of the United States, if the relocatioo on the project owns the car.
