April 20, 1988 CONGRESSIONAL RECORD — SENATE S. 44l5-44rl6 The PRESIDING OFFICER. The question is on the engrossment and third reading of the bill. The bill was ordered to be engrossed for a third reading and was read the third time. Mr. MATSUNAGA. Mr. President. I ask unanimous consent that the Senate proceed to the immediate consideration of H.R. 442. Calendar Order No. 323, the House companion measure. The PRESIDING OFFICER. The bill will be stated by title. The assistant legislative clerk read as follows: A bill (HJH. 442) to implement recommendations of the Commission on Wartime Relocation and Internment of Civilians. The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, the Senate will proceed immediately to the consideration of the bill. Mr. MATSUNAGA. Mr. President. I move to strike all after the enacting clause of H.R. 442. and to substitute therefore the text of S. 10C9, as reported and as amended. The PRESIDING OFFICER. The question is on agreeing to the motion of the Senator from Hawaii. The motion was agreed to.
